Beyond Impact invested in Live Kindly in 2018 when it was a content media site producing editorial and sponsored articles and videos in support of a vegan lifestyle. The company achieved huge traction in followers and developed a strong brand. It was bought out by Food United, which renamed itself Live Kindly in 2020.
SwissDeCode supports a vegan lifestyle by providing fast onsite analysis of biological material to check for the presence of animal DNA. Its kits that identify the four major pathogens have the potential to expand significantly the frequency and amount of food testing and so undermine public confidence in animal-derived products.
